I bought this book cause I love vampires and really enjoyed this. I love the fact that Rose's friends were so openminded and I feel like there are a lot of great stories to be had. I do think that with a little bit of editing, this story would be a 5 star rating. I can't wait to discover what powers Rose has. :)Product details

Where do I begin? The H and h are cardboardish, emotionally stunted and very immature. Even though the female lead is 38 and the male more than three hundred and fifty years old. There are several info dumps, I'm guessing these were after thoughts in the middle of never ending angst by our main characters.
Very dislikable and cartoonish, will not be reading other books of this series.
I loved that the author wrote the book in a way that made it to me just a little more realistic, if there was such things as vampires. I would hope that life could be like that where humans and otherworld creatures could coexist. I guess the only thing that I didn't care for was making Rose into a super fighting machine. That was a little over the top. But overall it was a great book period.
I was completely sucked in from the very beginning!!! Angee did an amazing job bring the characters to life!!! I love that she created Rose to be a strong independent woman even though she has an entire family to protect her. Starting book two right now and will probably be up all night reading it!! Way to go Angee!!!
Very fast paced and active story. Definitely a page turner... ready to read the next book to see what is going to happen next!
Angee TELLS a great story and leave you wanting more, can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Fangs, love, and stalkers... Welcome to Rose's life. Rose is an adolescent vampire. Having been bit, but not fully changed, she's suffering with something like vampire puberty. Though she handles it very well considering.
I found the story to be very engaging. While I wouldn't have used such proper speech (she is, we are, etc) in the dialogue for all the characters, I still found the story easy to follow. The story will definitely keep the reader on their toes, and have them up well past bedtime.
